The natural beauty of our state, roots, family and friends. My husband and I love to stroll and kayak around our neighborhood, as well as visit the cliffs abutting the ocean on the Southern end of the island at Beavertail.

Describe your style simply.
I began painting in watercolor 25 years ago. I am continuously inspired by my natural surroundings on Conanicut Island. My art is influenced by Japanese and other eastern styles.
Among your own work, what is your favorite piece? Where is it now?
I truly can't answer this question, I have painted so many pieces over so many years. My favorite pieces are hanging on the walls in my close friend's houses.
What impressions do you want others to take from your work?
Appreciate the beauty of this world through my eyes.
Where/how can others view and purchase your work?

What are the sources of courage?
I love what I do - I have never questioned whether this was the path for me. It is hard at times but I feel I have no choice.
